SS Rajamouli's magnum opus film, Baahubali is all set for a grand release on July 10th in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam languages. Like never before a Telugu film is likely to get simultaneous release in four languages. The movie had got good hype in Bollywood thanks to the association with Karan Johar.
However analysts say Rajamouli is taking a huge risk by opting for simultaneous release. Bollywood has the history of Crystal Clear Piracy Prints releasing on the release date. Pirates these days will fix Telugu audio to the Hindi print and release that. As a result audience who are not able to get tickets on the first day will opt for piracy.
Also the repeat audience will decrease for the film in Telugu due to this piracy. So analysts advise Rajamouli to have a delayed release at least in Hindi for 1-2 weeks. Since Hindi audience do not see much of Telugu films, it will not have an effect too. On the other side, Karan Johar is planning to unleash a huge promotion drive with the audio release of the movie in Mumbai.
