After the magnum opus, Baahubali has hit the screens and is breaking the Indian Cinema records with each passing day, the most controversial director is making his own marathon of tweets about the movie and its cast. Ram Gopal Varma now revealed sensational figures about Rebel Star Prabhas remuneration for Baahubali.
He tweeted "All us fools thought Prabhas did mistake gvng 2 yrs time without taking money nd now he's getting 65 cr share frm profits of just part 1. Which star other than Prabhas ever got 65 cr and an ultra mega hit and then international recognition for just 2 years of work ?" Many feel that as an industry source, Ram Gopal Varma might be correct to an extent.
But film critics and inside sources said that these comments were purely baseless and impossible. They confined saying that Prabhas might have been offered a share of Rs 14 to 15 crores. A senior film journo said "Rs 65 Crore as remuneration for Prabhas for the part 1 of Baahubali alone is big joke. In fact, Prabhas' fee wouldn't even be close to half of the amount quoted by RGV. Varma's claims are absolutely trash."
Adding to this, other journo said "As per the available information, Prabhas was given the collections share of Tamil version. On whole, Prabhas would have got around Rs 14 to 15 Crore as fee and nothing more than that." So, why do you think RGV is making his fluke comments and making fun of himself?
