These are the days the fate of the producers are decided before the movie release. Producers make money on crazy projects before the release and had to take release in losses if the movie does not get the hype required to market it. But Srimanthudu seem to be different. The movie is bringing extra profits to the makers even now.
The movie business is made on Non Refundable advance basis. After crossing certain limit, the collections over that limit will be shared by the producer and distributor. Srimanthudu had crossed NRA thresholds in regions of Telugu States like Nizam, East, West, Krishna and Guntur and is getting good profits to Producers now.
The distributors of Ceeded, Uttarandhra and Nellore are also in to profits zone but they are not so big enough to bring producers a share. Srimanthudu is already the second biggest hit in the history of Telugu Cinema. The movie is likely to touch 80 Crore share by the end of the coming weekend.
