The movie got huge success in an unexpected way. 'Jin' which was crafted under same genre was also gearing up for a release. The movie was directed by Sathish Chandrasekaran. This is his debut movie too.
Rite Media Works and Sathish Chandrasekaranin Kadhaigal funded the project as a joint venture. Distribution rights was bagged by K.E.Gnanavel Raja under Studio Green banner.
The movie was completed long back and now the team has used 'Darling' movie title as promotional strategy. 'Madras' fame Kalaiarasan has done the lead role. Harikrishnan, Kaali Venkat, Ramdoss are also part of the cast. There is no connection between 'Darling' movie and this 'Darling 2'. Seems makers know how to deceive people easily. The movie will release on 21st of October.
