GV Prakash who was a successful music composer, transformed to be a lead actor with the horror movie 'Darling'. The horror comedy gave him the perfect base. 'Trisha Illana Nayantara' which was made for youngsters gave a roaring success.
Right now he has 'Bruce Lee' and 'Ketta Paiyan Intha Karthi' in queue. His movie 'Pencil' was completed long back and is still struggling for a release due to financial constraints. Regarding his new movies, the composer says,
"I was happy as a music composer. My journey started when Sam Anton narrated the script of 'Darling' last June. As I have worked as music composer for 50 movies, it was easy for me to understand the commercial viability of the script. I know what will work on-screen and what won’t.

My next movie 'Bruce Lee' will be a comedy story and it will be a 'U' rated one. I was not bothered about 'Trisha Illana Nayantara' and we accepted the 'A' ratings gladly. 'Bruce Lee' will be a new genre comedy and will be in lines of Rajini's 'Thillu Mullu'.
