Telangana government had agreed to exempt Rudhrama Devi for Entertainment Tax. Gunasekhar met Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao a short while ago and requested to encourage them by exempting the Tax for the film. KCR reportedly agreed to the proposal instantly.
The Telangana Chief Minister also was in praise of Gunasekhar for making a film on Telangana history. He even promised to watch the movie's special premiere once it releases. Usually the governments levy 15% Entertainment Tax on the film ticket sales. This exemption will be huge boost for the film in Nizam.
Rudhrama Devi is releasing tomorrow all over the world in Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam languages. Even though the movie is postponed numerous times, the hype is still intact and as a result, the advance bookings are also good. Experts expect a minimum opening of 7 Crore if there is no last minute delay in the movie release.
Guna had brought Megastar Chiranjeevi for the voice-over and Allu Arjun for Gona Ganna Reddy role to bring some hype to the movie. Allu Arjun reportedly will appear 50 minutes in the movie. Bunny also revealed that he practiced Telangana dialect hard for his role in the film. This movie is a do or die situation for Gunasekhar as he is also the producer of the film.
