The rivalry between Mega family and Dasari Narayana Rao is well known to all and Ram Charan also gave back to the veteran director as and when possible. Dasari now targeted Ram Charan once again this time for his Bruce Lee. Dasari was in all praises for Rudhramadevi in a pressmeet.
"In those days, there used to be a healthy gap of 2-3 weeks for films to survive. But this film has an opponent on its seventh day. I feel sad about that as they create theaters problem. Who will succeed with this strategy? Three big films in three weeks. Stars need not run after festival advantage. It is a useless economics", Dasari said.
He urged all other films to make way for Rudhramadevi and encourage such initiatives to promote our history. Rudhramadevi has done very well in its first weekend collecting 19.6 Crore share only in the Telugu States. The movie also held well on Monday with decent occupancy in all the theaters.
However it has to be seen if the movie can retain the theaters with Ram Charan's Bruce Lee releasing on October 16th and Akhil Akkineni's Akhil releasing on October 22nd. Even though it retains the theaters, it has to be seen if the movie can survive for the long run with such negative talk and reviews all over.
