KCR may be only a recently inducted CM of a new born state, but his appointment by the Centre for a key post as the vice chairman of South
council reportedly raised eyebrows in TDP circles.
The key post was allotted to Telangana CM who is not an ally of TRS but Babu was part of NDA was ignored and though someone else was nominated, TDP leaders could have ignored but not the appointment of KCR.
Sources say that they NDA had to give chance to KCR for many reasons. They didn’t want it to go to Congress CM’s in Kerala, Puducherry and Karnataka. With more projects given to AP, they have already been getting criticism that they are anti-Telangana which is harmful for BJP in TS and yes, finally they didn’t want to be caught being too much biased towards Chandrababu.
With even Babu aware that there is criticism that NDA is more favorable for AP with a host of projects, eventually KCR was chosen and sources say Babu convinced his leaders not to speak in public about this since NDA had the above reasons.
