Many are wondering whether Congress president Sonia Gandhi who wielded uninterrupted power supply turning former PM Manmohan Singh is losing her sheen. There were times when Sonia showed her arrogance which comes with power by denying appointment even to the then CM Rajasekhar Reddy who played instrumental role in bringing Congress party to power in Andhra Pradesh and also at Centre.
Now with her party crushed ruthlessly in many recent elections in various states, onus fell on her once again to select the winning candidate in the upcoming Warangal by elections.
Sonia herself entered the fray and decided to select candidate for her party as no one is willing to contest in the wake of imminent defeat risking their political career.
This is in stark contrast when leaders used to compete for party ticket or contest the elections at mere signal from Sonia Gandhi. At that time no one used to question Sonia's decisions but now everyone started going against them.
