In Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, A Hindu Mahasabha leader along with two lawyers has harassed Air hostess and passengers on a Chennai bound flight. The flight took off on Thursday night. The three persons are Senthil Kumar, Raja, both from Perundurai, and Subhash Swaminathan from Trichy.
They are vice president of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha's Tamil Nadu unit. As per reports the three of them boarded on Indigo flight by 10.05pm last night. The trouble started when one of them started to take photos of the air hostess. The airhostess objected and other passengers also supporter her.
They stood against this behaviour. The pilot stepped into the situation and they asked the accused to behave, The passengers hreatened to get down from the planed if the lawyers doesn't deboard. Finally the matter was said to Airport authorities and they alerted the police.
The three lawyers were immediately detained by CISF personnel. Later they were taken to Police station and was questioned. FIR was filed under IPC Sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and 268 (public nuisance) and under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act.
