Telangana Chief Minister KCR,
well known for the word 'spendthrift' due to his lavish spending on unnecessary
issues for the 17-month rule, has now reportedly started preaching over 'saving
money' and also for curbing so called wasteful expenditure within government
departments.
KCR had recently convened a meeting with the officials in Chief Minister's Office as well as the finance department in Secretariat where few ministers were also present. KCR using words like financial discipline, save money, wasteful expenditures, do judicious spending has reportedly shocked officials and ministers.
They
simply were unable to believe their ears and wondered if this was a real
meeting or whether they were just day dreaming. After some minutes they then nodded
their head and vowed for spending judiciously and avoiding wasteful expenditure.
After the meeting ended, some ministers and also officials were reportedly discussing over how they were shocked at KCR's latest preaching on saving money because for every caste, Sania Mirza, temples and all other stuff he used to simply quote in crores and grant them!
