If reports are to be believed,
there would be a new political party soon in Telangana which would be seen as
an effective alternative to the ruling TRS. The sudden yet expected resignation
of ex Mahbubnagar MLA Yennam Srinivas Reddy from BJP has given credence to such
speculations.
Yennam
criticized BJP, Telugu Desam Party, cand also the TRS, stating how they
have failed when it comes to protecting the interests of the people. He added
that the Opposition parties are not any alternatives to the ruling party.
Sources
say that Yennam is all set for launching a new political outfit along with
another disgruntled BJP man Nagam Janardhan Reddy and both are expected to rope
in Telangana JAC chairman M Kodanda Ram, which would be galvanizing the Reddy
community.
Collectively they are planning to pose a challenge to the Velama-dominated TRS, exploiting the growing unrest among people. If Kodanda Ram too joins the new party, it will emerge slowly as a big threat to the TRS, since the professor is well known for his credibility among the people.
