The Warangal Lok Sabha elections took place on 21st of November. A record polling of 69% happened for the first time. Now the Warangal constituency is bagged by Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS). The by poll elections went in favour of the RS party.

They have bagged more than 2.3 Lakh votes. The next one who stood was Congress. Satyanarayana who contested got 1.05 Lakh votes. Third place went to BJP-TDP's Deviah. He just managed 78000 votes. YSRP ranked below and the contestant Nalla Surya Prakash just got 16000 votes.

As per reports the warangal constituency has around 16 lakh voters. There are 7 assembly constituencies which include Ghanapur (Station), Palakurthi, Parkal, Warangal West, Warangal East, Wardhannapet, and Bhupalpalle. TRS contest Dayakar is a graduate and he is with TRS from 2001.

The counting process happens and he is likely to get the lead further. The results clearly indicate that most of the people are preferring TRS than TDP. It has to be recalled that in 2014, Kadiam Srihari who stood for TRS also won by a huge margin.
