DMK Treasurer M.K.Stalin has took a hit against Jayalalitha stating that she has never visited the flood hit areas in Tamil Nadu. He has criticized that Jayalalitha has just visited RK Nagar, which is her constituency.
Stalin who visited secretriat along with Duraimurugan and Periyasamy hand overed a cheque of Rs.1 Crore to Government relief fund. The cheque was produced to financial secretary Shanmugam. His visit to secretariat came as shock as Kalaignar slammed that the ruling party never accepted the cheque.
Stalin who later met the press said, "I called senior bureaucrat on Monday and I got time to give the cheque. It is not a political issue. But the Government seems to watch it as political issue.
The ruling party failed to provide the help measures. Jayalalitha in particular never visited flood hit areas. She just paid visit to her constituency R.K.Nagar. As she was visiting, the floods was cleared. Hope ADMK Government make necessary amendments and carry out the relief measures fast."
