Vijayakanth is right now the opposite party leader. He is also the leader for DMDK party. In his recent interview he has lashed out ADMK Government and has said he never minds mockery made on him.
He said, "ADMK Government should take the entire blame as they never made precautionary measures. People are drowning each day. Weather forecast makes prior announcements and still the Government is lethargic. Ministers take photos from secretariat and they say water logging has been removed.
They need to step out and see the lanes of Chennai. The minsiters never even make a formal visit to these spots. Jayalalitha just visited RK Nagar as that is her constituency. She knew how to get votes during election. Doesn't she know how to approach public during these times ?
I also visited rain affected areas. I just went by walk. But the chief minister just visited dry areas that too by sitting inside an Air conditioned van. When is ADMK Government going to act sensible and save people from mishaps ?"
