TASMAC is yet another big threat to Tamil Nadu. Lots of school going kids and elders just drink and spoil their health. The Government makes rules not to keep bars within certain radius where Schools and Temples are situated. But TASMAC is seen in every corner.
Lots of people are fighting to close TASMAC. But Chief Minister Jayalalitha is interested to turn every one into drunkard and all the protests are just words are treated like they are being spoken to deaf ears. Kovan recently sang a song 'Moodu Tasmac-ai Moodu' (Close the Tasmac).
Due to this, he was even arrested by Police. After lots of barricades he was given bail by High court. Today he met DMK leader Kalaignar Karunanidhi at his residence in Gopalapuram. He thanked Kalaignar as he gave voice in favour of him and he also thanked him for taking him in bail.
Later he met press and said he will continue to fight against abolishment of TASMAC. He said he will protest from December 1st at Chennai and DMK party will help him in this protest. DMK Treasurer MK Stalin was present during this meeting.
