If any one believes that the real estate sector in Hyderabad is booming once again by looking at recent auction sale of Rs 30 crore
per acre at Raidurg near Hitech city, they need to think twice. An e-auction was conducted recently by Telangana government for sale of
the land parcels in Hyderabad which finally found some takers only for Raidurg land.
Manikonda and Kokapet,
Even in areas like Manikonda and Kokapet, situated close to Hitech city, the auction had only fetched prices less than that of the market price. But many feel ythat Telangana government is trying to project a false impression that once again Hyderabad real estate was booming.Hence it has been publicizing the Rs 30 crore per acre Raidurg sale. The market rates in Manikonda and Kokapet is around Rs 40,000 per sq.yard, but the auction only fetched Rs 25,000 per sq.yard,something the Telangana government is keeping under the wraps by only highlighting Raidurg price.
In fact, the government had offers 17 land parcels in RR district and 10 parcels in Hyderabad district for public sale. But only RR district
lands close to Hitech city has found takers, while no one bought any lands in Hyderabad district.
