After a successful innings as the CM of United AP, TDP chief
Chandrababu Naidu was shunted out from power in the year 2004 as not
every section was happy with him. Babu convinced he is a changed man and
later used bifurcation issue successfully to make a comeback.
Keeping
aside success in power supply and other issues, there have been a lot
of expectations on him for the simple fact that he is Chandrababu Naidu.
Naidu himself can be held responsible for all such expectations because
he gave out so many promises.
But after more
than one and half year in power, the position of ruling government or
party is not encouraging at all. The jolt he received in Note for Vote
scandal made him abandon Telangana unit of the long respected party in
that region.
In AP, though people have no
qualms on his track record, the unrestrained corruption and atrocities
and also high handedness by his Ministers, leaders and MLA’s is rocking
the boat. With most of the time gone for ‘managing’ scams, the big
question is when will Naidu deliver on the promises and meet the hopes
of a battered state!
