GHMC elections are all set to happen on 23rd of this month and already there has been huge buzz regarding the election. There has been lots of Political mind games. But everyone of them is worried as the time is short. All parties were just blessed with seven days for campaign.
On the whole the polls will happen after 21 days of notification. But now KCR who is the Chief Minister said that the reduced period for the election process is a good decision.
He said that more than three lakh government employees are in this process and the more number of days wasted in elections is more number of days spoiled for the people. He said,
"The Government wanted to reduce the days, because this will definitely affect the administration. 21 days is the perfect sum of days required for the elections. There would be minimum disruptions in most populated areas on account of the elections. We always respect the decision of High court and GHMC council."
