Infosys Mysore campus will soon have the tallest clock tower in the world. This is done as per the vision of CEO NR Narayana Murthy. The tower is expected to be 135 Meter tall and it will have 19 Floors.


It will also house a boardroom on Level 7. Murthy's clock tower will dwarf London’s famous Big Ben (96 meters), which is the currently the tallest clock tower in the world, by at least a third of the its height. Infosys Mysore camous is considered as a Mini city already.


It is spread over 350 acres with 12 Million Square feet area and the capacity can hold up to 15000 trainees, 8000 employees and thousand contract workers. A report in Economic times reads as, "A clock tower brings a sense of academic breathing to the campus, and I felt we too will need one.


And Vishal (Sikka) felt it is a good idea." One of the spokesperson from Infosys said, "Towers are a common site most of the campuses and we are constructing this classical clock tower with a digital time piece in our Mysore campus. This will be built in gothic style."
