So finally the over hyped fasting till death by Murdragada Padmanabham ended as a damp squib. He never achieved anything after making such a high profile drama. At the same time, Telugu Desam Party President and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu grabbed upper hand as he doused the fire which was ignited by the Kapu agitation.
But in the end there was no assurance given by Naidu to Mudragada who said he will never ever succumb to any sort of political pressure. Now the biggest disappointment is for YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as he planned to capitalize on this Kapu agitation.
He also sent his party members Botsa Satyanarayana, Ummareddy Venkateshwarlu and Ambati Rambabu to fasting Mudragada. But even before they reach the spot, the Kapu leader stopped the agitation and he withdrew the hunger strike.
And more than everything, what was more disappointing was the statement of Mudragada. He said his wife would prostrate before Naidu and wash his feet if TDP government fulfilled the promise !
