Sudden protests by kapus demanding reservations and Mudragada Padmanabham's Kapu Garjana and subsequent protests along with the recent indefinite fast took everyone by surprise.
Now many feel that Jagan Mohan Reddy's YSRCP which decided to gain politically by supporting the movement and keep Chandra Babu in dilemma failed to get the expected results.Jagan felt that if the protests and fast go on or sometime he would gain immensely.
But with Mudragada calling off past he received shock and Kapus willnot get closer to YSRCP.Now BCs who have been opposing inclusion of Kapus in YSRCP turned angry with YSRCp's support to kapus. BCs from the beginning are against the reservations.
Analysts feel that YSRCP supported Kapu protests in a silent manner.People are wowndering what YSRCP or Jagan gained by pledging support to Kapu protests.YSRCP cadre feel they jumped for Kapu support in a flash and now alienated evevn BCs.
