Chennai people can breathe easily as they have more easy access to Alandur and CMBT metro rail stations in the city. Three more small bus routes will connect them. Buses will pick up the passengers from these two main points. This is just for sake of metro route.


MTC has eighteen small buses since launch of Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) services. Apart from this each day more than 500 regular buses connect metro stations. Among the three routes, the first one starts from Alandur Metro station and goes till Madipakkam.


It will connect St.Thomas Mount, Adambakkam police station and Ullagaram. Second route is between Alandur metro and Velachery. In between, it will connect, Alandur court, Thillai Ganga Nagar, Vanuvampettai and Medavakkam Main Road. This bus service is provided to benefit more people.


An MTC Official said, Mini bus services connect metro stations like Vadapalani and Ashok Nagar. But they are not end points and passengers were forced to wait for a long time. Now they don't have to wait a long time.
