Assembly elections are expected to take place by month of May and all parties are eager in making alliances with other parties. Today DMK had a meeting with Congress party at Gopalapuram and Congress General secretary Gulam Nabi Azad met M.Karunanidhi who is the DMK Chief and MK Stalin who is the DMK treasurer. Elangovan was also present during this meeting.
Soon after the meeting, Azad met press people and said, "In the upcoming assembly elections, Congress has kept alliance with DMK party. DMK will decide further about inviting other parties.
We also feel only DMK can take Tamil Nadu in right path. The total number of seats will be decided later." When media people buzzed Azad, whether Vijayakanth will join their party ?
Azad said only DMK should decide that factor and they are comfortable with any party who blend with their team. When a journalist asked, "By 2013 walked out of congress and ..?" Even before completing the question Azad said, Politics is filled with controversies and there are no parties without problems.
