Narayanakhed byelections was contested bitterly and the polling was completed yesterday. A record 82.75% polling was witnessed in the constituency and Ronald Ross,Medak district collector announced that the counting will start on Tuesday Feb 16 from 8 AM.
Result will be announced on the same day by evening. Now poll analysts are coming with their predictions on the by elections. The elections witnessed increase from previous elections which was 79.4% percent.
Many predict that TRS will sweep the polls winning by around 70000 majority. They feel Congress will find it difficult even to get deposit. Since Congress found support in one mandal it may get deposit with great difficulty and TDP will have no chance to make its presence felt.
Contest is mainly between leading parties TRS candidate M Bhupal Reddy, P Sanjeeva Reddy of the Congress and M Vijayapal Reddy of Telugu Desam party. The election was held after the demise of sitting Congress MLA P Kishta Reddy.
