Tennis Star Sania Mirza who is also brand ambassador of state of Telangana finally did her job as an Ambassador. She has promoted Telangana tourism. She was appointed as brand ambassador for state of Telangana on July 2014 by Chief Minister K.Chandrasekar Rao.
He also gave a cheque of worth Rs.1 Crore for that purpose. But she never promoted the state so far. It has been more than 20 months and K.Chandrasekar Rao gave another cheque of worth Rs.1 Crore to Sania Mirza to meet her training and travel expenses across the world.
She also used that money to take part in various tennis tournaments across the world. And as he gave away hard earned tax payers money for no use, there was harsh criticism on KCR and TRS Government. Sania who never cared about the promotional events, added more worries to KCR and Telangana Government.
But recently she flagged off two catamaran yachts which costs Rs.25 lakhs and they imported from USA. They were introduced at the Hussain sagar lake, amid a flotilla of seven boats in the presence of Telangana tourism officials.
