Jagan Mohan Reddy's YSRCP leaders seems to be adopting over aggressive attitude which is harming not only their cause but also that of the party. It is known that YSRCP firebrand MLA Roja was suspended for one year for using foul language in the assembly.
Instead of apologising infront of the priviliges committee and to the speaker, Roja decided to take the battle to the court. While she got initial respite in High Court,it ruled out that Assembly is the final power to decide on her suspension.
Roja instead of reading the writing on the wall,decided to knock the doors of Supreme Court again. Supreme Court giving her a relief asked Government to solve the issue amicably.
However it found fault with Roja for knocking its doors and said she is the first MLA to do so. Court asked her to write an apology letter to the speaker but Roja instead of apologising submitted letter of explanation to the Supreme Court and also to the Government counsel.
Government counsel expressed its dissatisfaction over her letter and said Roja tried to misrepresent the facts. Supreme Court closed the issue stating that it is up to the Speaker and assembly to decide on it.
Government counsel too said he cannot give an assurance that Roja's suspension will be lifted as Roja is not accepting her mistake. Seems Roja's fate is still in balance and her arrogant ways is spoiling all the chances of a solution.
