A Senior Official has stated that the Tirupathi Municipal Corporation official website was hacked by a 'Bangladesh national' on Friday and has blocked the site for about two hours between 2 pm to 4 pm for some unavoidable reasons.
Vinay Chand the Tirupathi Municipal Corporation Commissioner has said that the hacking of the site was done by a suspected Bangladesh national for some purpose which will be identified at the earliest.
Sources have stated that here was no damage to the site, and Vinay Chand has said by adding that it was only informative one which was carrying general information about Tirupathi Municipal Corporation and there is no official links in the website.
Vinay Chand further added that the Tirupathi Urban police have begun investigations based on the complaint by the corporation. Meanwhile, TTD and other public institutions here have taken precautionary steps to protect their portals which were stated by the police on Friday.
