Recently the renowned company ITC has announced shifting its Agri Hub from Hyderabad to Guntur, which was seen as a huge plus for the state of Andhra Pradesh. Sources say that now more companies are in the pipeline requesting for allocation of lands in AP. This does come as a surprise to few in Telangana administration.


Big groups like Ashok Leyland, Inani Group and Havells, Euro Cables, have applied to the APIIC seeking 316 acres of land to shift their major bases and they are planning to come up in the Capital region. At this moment, it is not certain as to why the companies are inclined towards going to Andhra Pradesh.


According to reports, the automotive giant Ashok Leyland is eyeing about 100 acres land in Krishna district. Their purpose to shift their bulk body building unit with a huge  investment of 1000 Crore. APIIC currently has a land bank involving  3200 acres in Krishna district.


Havells and Euro Cables each are reportedly seeking 50 acres land while Inani Group is seeking for 30 acres to start a Gold Processing Unit. Projects like Vizag – Chennai industrial corridor, the rapid development of Gannavaram Airport and Machilipatnam Port followed by Sagarmala Project  in Coastal AP is reportedly attracting these companies.
