Just before the crucial Rajya Sabha elections, BJP’s leadership
seems to have started mending fences with the Andhra Pradesh Chief
Minister, Chandrababu Naidu. All these efforts are now for the Rajya
Sabha term extension of the BJP candidate Nirmala Sitharaman.
It
is known that BJP President Amit Shah had invited Chandrababu Naidu for
the swearing-in event of their new government in Assam. Chandrababu
Naidu who attended this event last evening was reportedly given utmost
importance there. Things have begun looking quite bright in this regard.
Sources
say that he was asked to first address this event which marks the BJP
forming government for the first time ever in a North–Eastern State.
This is seen as a boost for pacifying Chandrababu before crucial Rajya
Sabha elections. This is a much needed boost for TDP in its current
position.
As per the latest reports, TDP, an
ally of BJP, will be getting three seats in the upcoming elections to be
held in June. In this regard, BJP is now making a formal request for
allocating one of the seats to Nirmala Sitharaman. Sources also reveal
Chandrababu is willing to accommodate this request.
