Sources have stated that BJP High Command is continuing suspense over AP BJP President Post. It is said that MLC Somu Veerraju is out of the race unless something really unexpected happens. Sources in BJP say that Narasimha Reddy is lead runner if at the high command plans to give the coveted post to Rayalaseema.
Some leaders say it is high time for BJP to encourage Reddys as Congress is already dead and YSR Congress is fast losing its credibility. All of sudden, now the name of BJP Rajamahendravaram MLA, Akula Satyanarayana also cropped up.
Akula is from Kapu commmunity and is currently acting as mediator between government and Mudragada. Some leaders are pushing Akula’s name as it will lure Kapu caste towards the party. However the groups in the party who are against to BJP aligning with TDP are not happy with both the choices Narasimha Reddy and Mudragada.
They are trying their level best to push Somu Veerraju or Purandhareeshwari’s candidatures. Let us wait and see when the suspense breaks for AP state.
