Mallannasgar project undertaken by TRS government headed by KCR is resulting in huge controversy. While Irrigation Minister Harish Rao and Telangana government is claiming that farmers are voluntarily coming forward to part with their lands,opposition parties allege that government is forcibly acquiring lands from the farmers without giving them due compensation as per Land Acquisition Act 2013.
Government started arresting opposition leaders who are joining farmers protests at Mallannasagar. Congress leader DK.Aruna speaking to scribes thundered whether Mallannasagar is in Pakistan. She expressed anger on Government arresting Jana Reddy and Shabbir Ali stopping them from entering Mallannasagar.
She questioned are opposition leaders are terrorists. She said KCR is running a police rule and added KCR will suffer the consequences. She questioned KCR shamelessly is staying silent on EAMCET 2 paper leaks.
She questioned whether KCR is blind not to see the tensions of students and parents. She questioned KCR is not gaining senses even after High Court passed strictures against him in VCs appointments.
