The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Uttam Kumar Reddy has said on Thursday that The Congress party will "expose the lies and falsehoods being spread by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on irrigation projects in the state.
Sources have stated that the state Congress party headquarters here, Uttam Kumar Reddy has said that KCR has mortgaged the interest of Telangana in favor of Maharashtra by deciding to shift the barrage from Tummidi Hatti to Medigadda, which will cause huge losses to Telangana farmers.
Meanwhile to expose how KCR was undermining Telangana in favor of Maharashtra, the Congress, Uttam Kumar Reddy has told that he has organized an expert talk on 'Pranahita-Chevella or Kaleswaram project' from 3 pm on Friday at Gandhi Bhavan.
Uttam Kumar Reddy has also added that several experts on irrigation projects and retired engineers involved in the execution of such projects will take part in the talk, instead of acting like Telangana's CM; KCR is acting like an agent of Maharashtra's BJP government.
