Noted actor and real estate tycoon Murali Mohan has also got a strong political connection and he is considered a close member to the TDP president Chandrababu Naidu. During 2009 elections Murali Mohan lost the Rajahmundry MP seat with a narrow margin to current MP Undavalli Arun Kumar.
But the senior actor has not given up and it is heard that he is gunning for the same seat again in 2014 elections. As part of that, it is heard Murali Mohan is on a special mission. Sources say he is visiting various areas across the Godavari districts and meeting up with many important people who could play a key role in 2014.
The agenda is to build strength and cadre for the party. It is heard that recently nearly 200 students and other youngsters joined TDP with the efforts of Murali Mohan. If he can really create that difference with his mission then it will be a shot in the arm for TDP and Chandrababu Naidu.
