Egypt tighten borders after migrant ship tragedy


Egypt is getting ready to tighten its borders after the migrant ship tragedy. President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi ordered the tightening of border security after more than 160 mainly Egyptian migrants died when their Europe-bound boat sank in the Mediterranean.


8 injured in shooting in Baltimore


Baltimore police informed that multiple people were injured in a shooting which occurred on Saturday night just a block from where the city held a party earlier in the day for a special event. 8 people were injured and Baltimore Police Spokesman T J Smith said none of the injuries was life-threatening and that the victims included a father and his 3-year-old daughter.


EU warn Pak over Balochistan


European Parliament vice president Ryszard Czarnecki warned that the Union may  impose economic and political sanctions on Islamabad, if Pakistan fails to stop human rights violation in the region. It is known that for long Pakistan continued atrocities in Balochistan indulging in mass killings and genocide and of late Balochis across the world started protesting at all international forums. 


Indonesia for UN Security Council


Indonesian vice president Muhammad Jusuf Kalla speaking at the UN General Assembly called for reforms to make the council stronger and  announced its candidacy for membership on the UN Security Council. Kalla cited Indonesia's steady commitment to increase its peacekeeping force personnel by 2019 and its efforts to fight terrorism both regional and globally.


Earthquake in Romania


eastern region of Vrancea in Romania witnessed earthquake of magnitude 5.3 and the tremors were felt in neighbouring Bulgaria and Moldova. Earthquake occurred at 2:11 am local time (2311 GMT Friday) at a depth of 91.6 kilometres (57 miles).


Explosion in Hungary injures two


Explosion  at a ground-floor shop in downtown Budapest left two officers on foot petrol injured according to Hungary police. Budapest disaster management agency said that blast which occurred at 10:30 p.m. (2030 GMT) did not set off any fires at the scene.Police and rescue personnel cordoned off the area late Saturday near the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music and were searching for witnesses.

PM Modi on Paris agreement on climate change


PM Modi speaking at the BJP’s national council meeting in Kozhikode, Mr. Modi informed that ndia would ratify the Paris climate deal on October 2, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.Modi spoke of the threat due to global warming to many coastal countries and cities and said one should ratify the CoP 21. 


Kejriwal shown black flags


Delhi CM Kejriwal faced severe protests on his arrival in Amritsar. Kejriwal who faced huge protests from BJP and Congress cadre during his last visit by train chose to come in plane. However he was shown black flags by Congress women workers as his convey came out of the airport here. Protestors showed him  placards saying ‘Kejriwal Go back’



Petrol Bomb on BJP office in TN


In Tamil Nadu, unidentified men in two separate incidents hurled petrol bomb at Bharatiya Janata Party's Dindigul unit office and torched a car belonging to party's state executive committee in the early hours of Sunday.Police said unidentified people hurled a crude petrol bomb (lit bottle filled with petrol) at the BJP office located near Vazhividum Vinayaka Temple on Dindigul-Karur Road around 4AM.


Three charged with sedition in Kashmir


Abdul Qayoom Mattoo, a local Hurriyat leader and Imam of a local mosque in Omar mohalla, Saifuddin Bhagwan, a member of the Kishtwar’s Majlis-e-Shoura and Firdous Bhagwan,  a local Hurriyat leader were arrested by police in Kishtwar town on charges of sedition. Imam of Banstan Jama Masjid, Qari Manzoor, however, escaped before police raided his residence.Police booked nearly 30 people on charges of sedition for raising anti-India slogans during protests organized after the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani by security forces in the Valley. Curfew was imposed in the town after the unrest. 



FIR filed on Ishrat missing files


 Under Secretary, Government of India has filed FIR against the missing files pertaining to the Ishrat Jahan case. Delhi Police has initiated a probe into the case of missing documents pertaining to the sensational Ishrat Jahan encounter that took place in 2004.
