Entire world watches eagerly the US presidential elections as US is the super power which influence the world nations with its strategies. Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton are contesting for the top post and the battle lines are drawn with the first round of discussion completed.
First of the three US presidential debates started at Hofstra University on New York state's Long Island. Lester Holt moderator fired the first question which was answered by Hillary Clinton.
From then on sparks flew between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Both discussed on various issues pertaining to the country and the world and what struck everyone is Donald Trump looked restless,aggressive while Clinton sported a smile.
Trump looked under prepared and looked lost coming out with generalised debate unlike Clinton who came prepared. Trump looked strong when it came to trade and economy.
Now snap poll suggest that Hillary Clinton won hands down the first presidential debate. CNN/ORC poll taken immediately after the debate wrapped, 62 per cent of 521 registered voters who watched the debate said Clinton won, compared to 27 per cent for Trump.
Public Policy Polling also had Clinton trumping Trump, but by a more narrow margin of 51 per cent to 40 per cent.Some analysts however say no one really won the debate as it was lacking in content, insight and execution.
