The official election schedule is to take place in the year 2014 but each day something or other keeps happening and many are also anticipating a midterm around November or December. There is also a talk going on that even the ruling party Congress is looking forward to go in for a midterm as they are confident of winning.
But the reality picture sounds different. Many political analysts and surveys have revealed that it would be a blunder. This is not just at the centre but also in our Andhra Pradesh. The strong belief is Congress is not really prepared to take a midterm and it doesn’t have that kind of voter confidence if it goes for polls.
By dragging the time till mid 2014 Congress might still have the chance to make few amends and bring back some positive feel among the voters. This would also give them the window to project Rahul Gandhi as the prospective PM and Kiran as a capable CM. But still, anything can happen in the coming months.
