Generally those who win the elections enjoy peoples support atleast for a year or so. This trend is seen for quite sometime across the world and political analysts refer to it as 'Honeymoon' period. But it seems US President Donald Trump is not having any such Honeymoon period.
Many expected Trump to tone down his aggressive ways after becoming the President. However Trump increased his aggression attracting not only the wrath of people across the world but from his own people.
According to the latest four in 10 Americans in a survey said they want Trump to be impeached and five out of 10 wish Obama be their president.
Public Policy Polling (PPP) released the results of a new survey Thursday that found that, less than two weeks into Trump’s presidency, 40 percent of Americans want him impeached.
48% however still support Trump while 12% haven't formed any opinion about his rule. Trump's approval rating iis 47% while 49% opposed him for his decisions till now. Impeach Donald Trump Now campaign is gaining support with 500,000 signatures. However, the chances of an impeachment, which would require a majority vote in the House of Representatives and a two-thirds vote in the Senate, are exceedingly unlikely while the Republican party controls Congress.
Obama is still the favourite with 52% wanting him to be their president while 43% prefferred Trump. Some say Trump now has a rating of 37% and President Obama left office with a rating of over 60%.
