1.  Infighting in TDP out in open in Hindupur, curbs imposed :  The infighting in the ruling Telugu Desam Party(TDP) in Hindupur town came into the open forcing the police to clamp down prohibitory orders banning public meetings, protests and processions. The police promulgated ban orders underSection 144 of the CrPC and Section 30 of the Police Act.
2.  Blood on road: National highway to Tirumala a death trap for pilgrims :  The accident prone Kummarmadugu Road in Chittoor district, which falls under the Visakhapatnam-Chennai Industrial Corridor (VCIC) and Chennai Bangalore Industrial Corridor(CBIC), has claimed 51 lives in the past one month, while another 103 people suffered injuries in various accidents during the same period.
3.  Telugu Desam Party plans 'poru bata' against Andhra Pradesh government :  Having decided to take on the ruling TRS, Telugu Desam Party is making arrangements to organise huge public meetings in every district in the state. 
4.  Lord Venkateswara blessings for newly-weds by post: TTD :  Newly-weds across the world can now get blessings from Lord Venkateshawara just by sending a wedding card.
5.  Congress protests uprooting of Rajiv Sadbhavna pole :  Taking strong exception to the removal of Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhavna Yatra commemoration pole at Charminar, Congress party workers on Sunday demanded that TRS party leaders apologize and act against the guilty. 
6.  After lab life, leopard Preeti undergoes cancer operation at zoo :   A 14-year-old female leopard at the Nehru Zoological Park was operated upon by a team of four senior veterinary doctors for suspected breast cancer on Sunday.
7.  Cough up paltry fine and squat: Cops to get tough on hawkers :  Traffic police and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) are facing trouble in the Old City as hawkers cough up meagre fines and refuse to remove unauthorised structures.
8.  Showcase of IIIT's major R&D projects on February 17-18 :  IIIT-H (International Institute Of Information Technology) will hold the 15th edition of its annual R&D showcase, an exhibition of the prominent research and projects being carried out at the institute, on February 17 and 18.
9.  Rs 10,000 crore will normalise crunch in Telangana post-demonetisation :  Another Rs 10,000 crore will ease cash troubles of banks in the state, officials said on Sunday. They said that only when the gap between demand and supply is bridged will things improve. 
10.  'Dynamic' khaki plan to net tipplers dribbling past cops :  To sober down tipplers who wriggle out of law, Hyderabad traffic police has come up with a 'dynamic mantra' to beat drunk drivers in their own game.
11.  Hyderabad's swine flu surge: 210 cases in 36 days :  It is just 36 days into the New Year, but swine flu cases have already overtaken last year's numbers with 210 cases (including 70 in first four days of Feb) against only 173 cases in 2016. The reason for sharp increase this year is still a mystery. In 2015, it was 3,000, an all-time high.


Andhra Pradesh
1.   Chandrababu Naidu may induct YSRC turncoats into his Cabinet :  Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has decided to induct into the Cabinet at least three of the 22 legislators who switched sides from the YSR Congress to the Telugu Desam.
2.   Anantapur: Protesting farmers hoisted on power transmission lines :  
     A farmer and his son was injured when they were protesting the laying of high-tension wires through their patch of agricultural land near Melavoy in Madakasira mandal on the Karnataka border on Sunday.
3.    Amaravati Global Music and Dance Festival to begin from Feb 10 : A cultural treat awaits connoisseurs as the first edition of Amaravati Global Music and Dance Festival opens on the banks of river Krishna at Pavitra Sangamam on the outskirts of Vijayawada city on February 10.
4. Uma lashes out at Jagan :  Irrigation Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao has said that the credit for giving water to Pulivendula constituency in Kadapa district goes to the TDP government.
5.  Sindhu, Gopichand participate in yagam :  Chaturveda Samhita Yagam and Sri Vanaduraga Mahayagnam continued for the third day on Sunday at Sri Sarada Peetham at China Mushidivada. Peethadhipati Sri Swaroopanandendra Swamy spoke on the significance of the day and the importance of the yagams.
6.  Walkathon held :  The student chapter of GITAM Computer Society of India organised a walkathon to mark the national symposium ‘Digital Andhra’ here on Sunday. The procession was taken out from Kalimatha temple to YMCA on the Beach Road. 
7.  Chaganti’s discourse :  Spiritual orator Chaganti Koteswara Rao will give a discourse on “Sivananda Lahari” from Monday (February 6) to Sunday at Ashtalakshmi temple at Annamrajunagar at Madhurawada. The discourse begins every day at 6.30 p.m.
8.  Make women’s parliament a memorable event: Kodela :  Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad Rao on Sunday said volunteers and members of the multi-disciplinary teams constituted for smooth conduct of the forthcoming National Women’s Parliament at Pavitra Sangamam should extend their best services to the women delegates expected to come from across the nation and also from outside the country.
9.  Armed base camp to be revived at Pulibonu :  The Red Sanders Anti-Smuggling Task Force (RSASTF) has mooted plans to revive the armed base camp at Pulibonu Bavi (popularly known as Pulibonu) in SV National Park and Chamala Valley belt in the deep forests of Seshachalam Hills, considering its terrain, giving ample chances to the woodcutters from Tamil Nadu to carry out their entry and exit operations, in addition to poaching activities.
10.  Council poll: Cong. campaign gains momentum :  The campaign by main political parties has picked up momentum even as Congress nominee Dr. Eluri Ramachandra Reddy made a strong bid for winning the MLC Graduates (Nellore, Chittoor and Prakasam districts) seat by taking up hectic electioneering among the educated voters.
