People of India and especially those in Tamil Nadu couldn't forget the recent power struggle between former CM Jayalalithaa's close aide Sasikala and her trusted lieutenant Pannerselvam. Sasikala's dreams were dashed when Supreme Court sentenced her to four years imprisonment in disproportionate assets case.
Sasikala installed her proxy E.Palanisamy as CM and though Pannerselvam enjoyed public support, Palanisamy passed the floor test amidst intense political drama in the assembly with opposition DMK and ADMK members indulging in large scale violence.
In the midst of all this rumours are spreading that Palanisamy will lose his CM post in the coming days and Dinakaran will replace him. Tangadurai, Neelakota MLA speaking to scribes said Dinakaran will soon become CM.
Tangadorai, MLA frm Nelakota, Dindigul district stopped visiting his constituency from 5th of Feb. Finally he visited the constituency amidst huge police security and speaking to scribes he said he supported Palanisamy as CM only after getting the views of the people and party organisers.
He said Dinakaran has been active during Jayalalithaa's regime and time will come when Dinakaran will become CM. Rumours are spreading that Palanisamy will soon lose his post as CM.
