AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu seems to be experiencing 'special scares' as 2019 elections are nearing. It is known that Chandra Babu failed to get special status as promised from his ally BJP which is ruling the Centre. He failed to convince PM Modi and his government,though he has his men in the cabinet.
Jagan Mohan Reddy's YSRCP and Pawan kalyan's Jana Sena are highlighting this failure of Chandra Babu Naidu to get special status. Chandra Babu tried to convince people that special package is equivalent to special status and he will get legal status for it.
However PM Modi delayed the decision on legal status to special package and this is worrying Chandra Babu. According to the latest Chandra Babu asked his ministers to pressurise Union Government and PM Modi for legal status.
Union Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju explained saying PM was busy and he couldn't take it though the issue was raised in the last cabinet meeting. He asked Ashok Gajapathi Raju and all MPS to pressurise government till it gives legal status to special package.
