Natasimha Balakrishna who is making his mark in politics as ruling party MLA from Hindupur is surprising all with his decisions. Generally, leaders undertake padayatras to make some demands or to know the problems of the poor.
However, Balakrishna is getting ready to undertake padayatra for a different reason. He is planning Padayatra to get a broad idea of the steps taken for the release of water to Hindupur from Gullapalli Reservoir from Penukonda rural mandal, Anantapur district.
His constituency leaders suggested Balakrishna go on a yatra from April. But what is surprising all is already Krishna waters reached Gollapalli reservoir and 350crs are sanctioned for the laying of pipelines from the reservoir to Hindupur for 50 kms. Under these circumstances, Balakrishna's padayatra is surprising all.
TDP insiders say there is another reason for Balakrishna's padayatra. It is known that recently many party leaders and cadre from Hindupur gave an ultimatum to the High Command,CM Chandra Babu and Balakrishna that they would resign if the atrocities of Balakrishna's PA Sekhar is not stopped. Many are now wondering how Balakrishna will deal with this rebellion.
