Corruption is rampant in India and inspite of various measures by law enforcing authorities menace of corruption is increasing. People blame politicians who are corrupt for being the law makers.
AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu takes pride as a clean administrator. He claims credit for placing Hyderabad on IT radar and says he is now all set to present world class capital at Amaravati for Andhra Pradesh.
In the meantime speaking in the assembly, he made a stunning confession on corruption. "In the entire country, AP ranks number one in corruption, and also in development."
Chandra Babu was referring to a report of NCAER qouted by leader of Opposition Jagan Mohan Reddy. Jagan cited this report findings and attacked Chandra Babu for factually incorrect claims.
Jagan said "We would have been happy if the Chief Minister had spoken the truth," quoting the report of the National Council for Applied Economic Research (NCAER) which places AP at the top in corruption.
Chandra Babu turned furious and threatened to move a breach of privilege motion against Jagan. He then pointed out "We are using biometrics and Aadhar because of which only the real eligible people are able to avail of benefits. During the Congress regime, even demons used to draw welfare pensions,"
