1.  Telangana likely to peg Muslim quota at 9%, order soon :  The TRS government has decided to go ahead with its promise of providing reservations to Muslims. However, as against the earlier expected 12 percent, the quota is expected to be 9 percent and will be based on socio-economic backwardness and not religion.
2.  IAS officer quizzed for son's role in murder :   A day after IAS officer D Venkateshwar Rao's son Venkat Sukruth's role in the murder of their driver came to light, police on Monday summoned the bureaucrat to Jubilee Hills police station and quizzed him for hours about his alleged complicity in the crime. 
3.  Nude video: Roommate shoots it for boss, held :  Cyber crimedetectives of the Cyberabad policearrested an event management firm director and an employee for secretly recording semi-nude videos of a former employee staying at a women's hostel at KPHB Colony.

5.  Online campaign by Kuchibhotla's kin to punish killer :  An Indian-American relative of hate crime victim Srinivas Kuchibhotla is pressing the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to prosecute the suspect Adam Purinton to the fullest extent of law.
6.  Mystery shrouds death of Telangana youth in Saudi :  Mystery shrouds the death in Saudi Arabia of a 22-year-old man from Telangana.Kunaboina Sampath of Ellanthakunta villae of Rajanna Sircilla district was found dead in his room in Najran of Saudi Arabia along the Yemen border.
7.  Supreme Court order fails to apply the brakes on tinted vehicles :  Close to four years after traffic cops launched a massive drive against the use of tinted glass/black films on cars, the opaque screens are back on city's roads. Reason: Shift in focus to other special drives, say observers.
8.  CCTV captures IAS officer's son, cops clueless on motive :  Forensic expertsfound driver Nagaraju had a deep head injury, probably caused by a brick or a blunt object, and died after the hit. But even 48 hours after Venkat Sukruthallegedly killed Nagaraju, police are yet to ascertain the motive behind the murder.
9.   RBI's Rs 1,150 crore remittance won't end crisis: Bankers :     Telangana got a remittance of Rs1,150 crore from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Monday. While of this, Hyderabad's banks received RS 550 crore, bankers here said that it wasn't enough to tide over the current crisis. The money will be loaded into city ATMs on Tuesday morning and reach the districts only by afternoon, said sources.
10.  KTR writes to Sushma Swaraj to rescue 29 Telangana workers from Saudi company captivity :  IT and NRI affairs minister K T Rama Rao has written to union external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj's intervention in rescuing 29 migrant workers from Telangana held in captivity by a company in Saudi Arabia.


Andhra Pradesh
1.  Andhra Pradesh moves Hyderabad high court, on Centre tax notice :  Taking affront with the NDA government for slapping it with a notice for payment of 612 crore as service tax and an equal amount as penalty for non-payment of the tax on sale of liquor, the Andhra Pradesh government challenged the move in the Hyderabad High Court, which on Monday restrained the Centre from taking any coercive steps.
2.  E.G. farmers to get sprinklers on subsidy :  In a bid to encourage pulses cultivation in East Godavari, the district administration is going to distribute sprinklers on a subsidised price to 2,000 farmers in the upland area.
3.  Naidu’s wife donates Rs. 25 lakh to TTD :  Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu's family members on Monday donated Rs. 25 lakh to the TTD s Nitya Annadanam Trust. The donation was made in connection with the birthday of Devansh — Mr. Naidu’s grandson — who completes two years on March 21.
4.  Naidu warns Jagan of action :  Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday said that he would be forced to move a privilege motion against the Leader of the Opposition Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy if the latter “kept putting out factually incorrect information.”
5.  KGH to have high-tech Sleep Lab soon :  A state-of-the-art Level-1 Sleep Lab will soon be established at the King George Hospital (KGH) in the city. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, and the Director of Medical Education (DME), Andhra Pradesh, in this regard.
6.  Create new rail zone before station re-development :  The re-development of Visakhapatnam Railway Station and other major development project cannot and must not be allowed to come under the present zonal system and should be necessarily under the supervision of the new Railway Zone with headquarters in Visakhapatnam, which was not only promised in the AP Reorganisation Act but also by various leaders, says president of Vizagapatam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) A.V. Monish Row.

8.  Council session to be extended :  The session of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council is going to be extended for two more days to facilitate the election of a new Deputy Chairman.
9.  Skill training course for cops begins :  As a part of imparting professional skills to police personnel a capsule course in ‘forensic investigation and physical fitness’ was inaugurated at the Police Training College here on Monday. 
10.  Learn from Counicl poll results, YSRC told :  Telugu Desam Party State president K. Kala Venkata Rao has asked Leader of the Opposition Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to learn lessons from the result of the elections for the Legislative Council in Kadapa.
