1.  Telangana BJP objects to KCR’s tone & tenor :  Telangana BJP leaders challenged Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for a debate in Parliament or State Assembly about the quantum of funds disbursed by the Central Government and demanded he stick to his vow of resigning if Rs. 1 lakh crore disbursal was proven.
2.  TDP behind sand, liquor mafia, alleges YSR Congress :  Kurnool MP Butta Renuka and YSR Congress leaders on Thursday accused the Telugu Desam Party leaders of being behind the sand and liquor mafia in the State and acting highhandedly against social media and its activists.
3.  RRS alleges raw deal to Rayalaseema :  Alleging that the Union and State governments have meted out a raw deal to Rayalaseema, the Rayalaseema Rashtra Samiti (RRS) has demanded a separate 'Greater Rayalaseema state' to overcome under-development.
4.  'My govt.’s success has rattled Oppn.  :  The Left Democratic Front on Thursday celebrated its first anniversary in power, with Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan announcing his government’s proposal to develop hill and coastal highways, besides completing the stalled work on the National Waterway.

9.  Naxal leader’s presence in AOB puts police on alert : The recent sighting of Nambala Kesava Rao alias Basavaraj, head of the Central Military Commission, the main fighting unit of the CPI(Maoist) in the Andhra Odisha Border (AOB) region, has put the police on high alert in the Agency areas of Visakhapatnam. And this in the light of the TDP Mahanadu scheduled to take place here from May 27 to 29.
10.  Punnaiah Chowdary joins BJP :  K.Ch. Punnaiah Chowdary, secretary, Badminton Association of India, and vice-president of Andhra Pradesh Olympic Association, joined the BJP in the presence of party’s national president Amit Shah.
