On June 1, the eve of Telangana formation day Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi arrives at Telangana and the leaders are expecting a true charismatic stirring speech from him.At least it would help gearing up forward for the next elections.
Congress leaders are hoping for some hard—hitting speech from him attacking the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi government in the state headed by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
But skeptics doubt whether he would be able to make any impact as Rahul depends solely on the material to be provided by the local Congress leaders.If Rahul still continues the same parroting it would have absolutely no impact on the people and the party’s prospects.
"Rahul has to go deep into the issues confronting the Telangana region. He has to understand the changed political dynamics of the state and analyse why the Congress party is not able to match up to the might of the TR and why there is a bankruptcy of leadership in the party else he will continue to bear the tag of being an iron leg for the party, as has happened in Uttar Pradesh and other northern states," an analyst said.
