The Whole Nation is fuming against centre's Cattle Trade Law. The state of Kerala which was affected more than other states protested against this. However, all their protests fell on deaf ears.
In this case, Kerala assembly has passed a resolution against the Centre's new cattle trade that bans the sale of cattle for slaughter. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan passed the resolution after he got a nod from the entire house except the lone BJP MLA O.Rajagopal.
The news was confirmed on Twitter by
the Chief Minister. Both the members of ruling left Democratic Front and the
Opposition United Democratic Front unanimously passed a motion. The lone
warrior from BJP couldn't do anything. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan called
the new law as 'Unconstitutional'.
He said, "The law is unconstitutional and an infringement on human rights. Everyone will be affected. He further added that farmers also will be affected as they spend Rs.40,000 to take care of a cow that stopped giving milk and a huge majority of people in Kerala are Non-Vegetarians."
