As per report from Mumbai sources it was stated that around five farmers and policemen were injured at an incident near Mumbai. It was stated that the farmers are protesting against the construction of a compound wall by the state government.
It was stated that violent actions is happening at Kalyan Nevali, which is 60 kilometers from Mumbai. The villagers were found protesting against the construction of a compound wall around airstrip of World War II era at Nevali, which is situated in Thane district. The incident is creating tension around the areas and people are being annoyed because of the happening.
Meanwhile villagers have stated that they were
making objections to the building of the compound wall and in the incident
round three to four police vehicles were torched. The police department has
made arrangements for additional forces to control the violent actions. Moreover
the local representatives have immediately rushed to the spot to bring solution
and to make the crowd reduce their tension.
