Sources from Andhra Pradesh have stated that currently Andhra Pradesh investigating agency's Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has unearthed a startling Rs 800 crore worth disproportionate assets in the raids conducted on the houses of Engineer in Chief Panduranga Rao in various places in the state.
It was stated that huge quantity of gold, currency notes and documents pertaining to lands, buildings and other immovable properties were seized from the houses of corrupt official in the raids in various places.
Moreover the properties in binami names of the
official were also identified in Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy and Medak districts.
The ACB officials are conducting searches for the last two days in AP and
Telangana also. Sources have also added that a super specialty hospital in the
name of Rao's family members was also found in Guntur, officials said the total
assets found in the searches is nearly Rs. 5oo crore to Rs. 800 crore worth.
Cases have been booked and the official was taken into custody.
