Andhra Pradesh sources have stated that TDP MP JC Diwakar Reddy and the former minister was earlier banned by all major domestic airlines for his unruly behavior after he reportedly broke office equipment and abused IndiGo staff at Visakhapatnam airport on June 15th.
Sources have stated that the IndiGo staff reasoned that they refused to let him board the flight as he turned up late. The incident got extensive coverage in media and it prompted the major airlines to ban him. Sources have stated that after one month ban, the seven domestic airlines, including IndiGo, on Wednesday revoked the ban on JC. It is heard that the Anantapur MP has used his power and influence in New Delhi to bend the airlines before him.
Meanwhile JC's son, Pavan Kumar Reddy had reportedly arranged an eight-seater jet for his father. During his stay in Delhi, he has reportedly used his political connections and allegedly forced the airlines to revoke the ban on him.
